Description

Our model HST is a horizontal hard bearing balancer with a capacity of 6.6 pounds. It has a wrap around drive belt system which is adjustable from the front of the balancer. The drive can be operated either inside or outside the columns depending on the application of the part. The drive is powered by a 1/2 h.p. ac variable speed motor.

The standard machine has a maximum column width of about 5.9". Longer machines can be custom made in increments of about 2" for specific customer requirements.

The bearings the parts spin on are sealed for quality purposes and are inside a special casing to provide for longer life and less stress on the bearings. The bearing cradles have a safety mechanism which locks in place above the journals of the part being balanced. It includes a special quick release feature for quickly placing and removing parts on the machine and is adjustable for different size journals.

The HST balancer is ideal for the accurate and affordable balancing of armatures, turbines, crankshafts, etc.
